Oak Hills at Lakota East - Freshmen Boys
I promised the boys game would be coming and here it is. The boys game followed the girls game after a short warm up period. Gave me enough time to get something to drink, flip my cards and check my battery power level. Below are some images from the game.

Oak Hills At Lakota East - Freshmen Soccer
This game took place way back on September 17th. The freshmen girls played before the boys team. A later post will have images from the boys game. I love the fact that freshmen games normally start around 4:30 which means I will have natural light for the entire game. I do have to contend with the setting sun but at Hopewell I have an entire end of the field I can shoot from without having too much trouble with light. Here are some of my favorite images from the game.

Quick Message
Just wanted to make a quick post to let everyone know that I am still here. I went out of town for a wedding in Vegas and am still trying to catch up on things. I covered a few tournament games starting about 5 hours after I was back in town. Blog posts are always at the bottom of my list of things to do. I should resume normal posting here shortly. Stay tuned and sorry for the lack of posts.

Oak Hills At Lakota East
I normally do not get to cover volleyball until the season is well underway. The field sports get covered first while there is as much natural light as possible. Oak Hills traveled to Lakota East on September 13th for this match. Both teams were highly rated at the time of the match. I wish the lights had been brighter in the gym so there would be less motion blur in the images. Though the lighting is a bit low I do love all the spots I can shoot from. The teams and the fans are on the same side which gives me an entire side of the court to move around on. As well as several upper level spots. Below are images from the JV and Varsity matches.

St. Ursula at Ursuline Academy
Some more field hockey for a change of pace. These games took place on September 12th. (yes, still behind on posting) Definitely a rivalry and there were a lot of supporters for both schools. Because there are no lights at the field the JV team plays after the Varsity team. But sticking with the way I usually post, the JV game images are first.
