Seton At Ursuline Academy Soccer

Another JV only game. And what a temperature change! This game was back on October 10th and I think it was the first time the temperature dropped. The wind was blowing and there was threat of rain. I remember all this because I was very glad I had a warm coat in the car. I left with a fleece on and quickly changed to the warmer coat when I got there. Just wish I could have grabbed my gloves/mittens. They are mittens that fold down to expose your fingers. Work perfectly for me since I need my fingers to work the camera. I also tried to avoid the wetter spots around the field. Having wet knees with a cold wind blowing is not really helpful to the staying warm thing. One of these days I will get a pair of knee pads. Just have to find a kind I like and are easy to get on and off. Anyway, here are some of the images from the game.

Oak Hills At Fairfield Boys Soccer

I covered the JV game only this time around. The field is not lit enough to get good quality images after dark. Which you know is always a complaint I have. Here I fight with getting clear backgrounds as well. I do like the ease in which I can move around the field. I feel I can stay out of the way of people watching the game which is always my goal. Enjoy the JV images.

Harrison At Oak Hills Girls Soccer

I remember these games even though they were played the first week of October. It was still hot considering it was October. I was wondering if I could mix my bug spray with my sunscreen. I knew once the sun went down I would be fighting off the bugs. Here are some images from the JV and Varsity games.

Portrait Session

Changing it up a little and showing a portrait session. I have been busy the past few weeks doing some family and children sessions. This cute little guy was back for his 9 month photo session. It always amazes me how quick children grow up and change. Especially the first few years of their life.

He is starting to get the hang of walking.

I am not above bribing with objects that are shiny and make noise.

I think he was about done with me here.
But the Bengals jersey cheered him up.

He made so many different faces during the session I decided to make a collage of them.

Oak Hills Boys Soccer Senior Night

The boys soccer team had their senior night on their second to last home game. They saved the last home game to honor their coach who was retiring at the end of the season. I want to wish all the seniors good luck with all their future plans. Here are some images from the game.

After the rain

Today is a rainy day here. It reminded me that I took some pictures after another rainy day recently. The sun was coming up in the morning drying everything out. I only had a few minutes before I had to leave to be somewhere so I grabbed my camera and took a few pictures around our backyard. I thought I would share a few today. Plus it was a good excuse to take a break from work.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

More Mason at Lakota East Soccer

The last post was from the freshmen game. This post is for the JV and Varsity games that took place the following day. It was definitely more of the same type of play. Lots of action and battles throughout all the games. The JV game is first followed by the Varsity game.

One keeper save.
Followed by another.

The wall. I was finally in position to get the faces of the players forming the wall.
