A Wedding

Back in October I had the opportunity to shoot a wedding with Neysa again. What a great day and an amazing couple. I started out with the guys as they got ready and hung out before heading to the Church. Even though I was surrounded by Ohio State fans the entire time I had fun and we got along fine:) Thanks for allowing me to part of your special day. I wish both of you a lifetime of happiness.

A makeshift cooler.
Drawing up the game plan.
Plan made, break!
The ring bearer wanted nothing to do with the grown-ups. He watched a show on dinosaurs.
The entire gang ready to break for the Church.
The groom got his bride a special gift which he gave to her before the wedding.
She came up behind him for their first look.

A little laughing during the ceremony when the priest sang them a song.

Their first dance as a married couple.

The warning look to be nice.
And he obeyed.
A cast did not slow this guy down from showing everyone his moves.

A Wedding

I had the honor of being a second photographer for Neysa at a wedding in August. The wedding was outdoors at Alms Park. It was a beautiful sunny day which was just perfect. I went to Alms early to get some of the setting up images. There is a ton of work that went on behind the scenes to make everything perfect for the day. Thanks to the lovely couple that welcomed me immediately. It was a truly amazing wedding with love filling the air. Here are a few images from the day.

This groomsmen had the ladies helping him get ready.

The first look set up by Neysa

Things got fun during some of the "formal" shots.
The bride insisted on having Neysa in an image. A testament to how great of a photographer she is and how she makes friends out of all her clients.

Ready to start yet?

Here is a look at the finished setting.

Everyone went down to watch the fireworks and had some sparkler fun as well.

Wedding

What a great time I had at this wedding. I was the second photographer for Neysa and I started out with all the guys at the groom's parent's house. They immediately welcomed me and made me feel like part of the group. All the guys were sitting around watching the U.S. Open and telling stories from their times together. Here is a small collage of them getting ready for the big day.

A gift from the Bride - Ryder cup tickets.
Everyone watching the bride and groom seeing each other for the first time that day.
The groom's expression. I love that the Bride's father is in the background.
While Neysa was taking pictures of the Bride, the Groom decided to made a call.
The bride playing around while some shots of the guys were being taken.
I like the reflection of them in the car.
What to do while waiting for the wedding to start? How about learn a dance for the reception.
Last minute touch-up.
Sneaking a peek before the wedding.

The new missus and mister.
Showing off the ring afterwards.
Leaving the Church.
The first dance.

There were so many different centerpieces but I think this was my favorite.
A little warning before cutting the cake.
Which worked!

Thanks for including me on your special day! I wish you both continued happiness.
