Family Session

I had a great family session at Ault Park at the beginning of October. The day started a bit chilly but was perfect for moving around a lot outdoors. And believe me, these boys kept me moving. If I had half their energy..... I thought I would share a few of my favorites.

We met at 9:30 in the morning and had some great light.

Which included hide and seek.

Then I tried to wear them out by making them run:)

Baby Session

I had a cute little one in the studio last week. She may have been my tiniest baby yet. Not fussy at all. Here are some images from the session.

Portrait Session

I am finally sharing the rest of my favorites from the portrait session last Saturday morning. It was the perfect weather for an outdoor session. I have been photographing this little guy since he was born and it was time for his 18 month pictures. He is sure growing fast. And he is all boy. Loves the outdoors so I was really glad we could do the session in a place where he could be himself. So here are some of my favorites.

I thought I would share a quick image from my portrait session on Saturday. This one for some reason grabs me every time I see it and is one of my top 5 from the session. More to show later in the week.

Family Session

I had the privilege of doing a family session and a few maternity images at the same time. I only wish it had been cooler outside. The mom's dress was fantastic. I love it! What great color and it would have looked amazing against a tree line. But there was no way I was going to try to convince an 8 month pregnant woman to go out in 90 degree heat with high humidity. Their house is so many different wonderful pieces that I had no trouble finding places to take their family images. Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

Portrait Session

I had this portrait session a week ago. It was a lot of fun. I let the girl choose what she wanted to do for her session. Gave her choices of background and other different things. I quickly realized I should have put some things away because she wanted to try everything :) We did some of the session in the studio and then headed outside to a playground. Here are a few from the session.

We started with her sitting/playing on an ottoman.

Then she found some of my beads and selected a chair.


Finally she changed backgrounds and went for a stool.

Portrait Session

I have had the pleasure of photographing this guy 3 times now. This year he had a little brother join him. It had definitely turned cold out so we were in the studio.
