Cherries

Between last night and today I have picked and pitted 4 cups of cherries off our tree. I was hoping for 6 to make a pie. Instead I will make dumplings or cobbler. Both sound really yummy right now. More cherries on the tree that are still ripening. So excited to finally get more than 3 off of it in a year. Just need to keep the birds away.

All caught up from vacation. Thanks to everyone for their patience. I am off to relax with a glass of wine.
